Sewn from Scratch: made by hunters for hunters

Each of Duck Bag shell carriers is made by hand in our Wenatchee shop. Materials are sourced from other American businesses based in Ohio, California, Colorado, and Oregon.

The tools of this trade are purposeful and deliberate. Pattern pieces are transcribed to fabric in chalk and cut with scissors and rotary blades.

Pieces are sewn with a Janome Memory Craft 6600. This machine has enough horsepower to plow through multiple layers of Cordura and webbing—a step up from a typical home machine. I appreciate the clear controls and ease of use. The push-button line cutter is a treat.
