Line Management for your Motion Rig

If you’re like me, you’ve felt frustrated by the cord that comes pre-packaged with most jerk-rig kits. It’s thin, prone to breaking, and often comes wrapped on a tiny little handle that’s easily lost at the bottom of your blind. Here’s two easy changes that will make your jerk rig less frustrating and easier to manage.

Larger Handle. When each wrap takes up feet—instead of inches—you’ll have a faster time deploying and retrieving the cord. A larger handle makes it easier to keep track of, especially when it’s tossed into the blind/boat/decoy bag, or dropped in the water during early-morning setup.
